Another week down at the MTC and it really is still the exact same, the biggest change that we had so far was a TRC skype session with someone from Japan, we had the opportunity to teach Ikeda san. To be honest it was only ok because the headset that I was using was terrible so I like couldn't hear anything so it was hard for me to respond because I had no Idea what anyone was talking about. This week was really normal I guess you could say nothing like amazing happened it is just the usual MTC life.

I have been a little sick this week, I have a sore throat and a cough but i'm not complaining, its really not that bad. I don't really know what to talk about so i'm just telling you whats kinda going on while i'm here. 

The devotional this week was on Satan and his different ways that he tempts us or brings us down 1.Direct Temptation 2. Contention 3. Counterfeits 4. Discouragement and the different ways to combat these various ways of temptation are serving others, working hard, exercise, eating good food, diligent prayers, and sometimes priesthood blessings when needed. What i have found since being at the MTC is when i am getting frustrated or angry at someone, ill say a prayer in my head, its really hard to stay mad when you are talking with your father in heaven, and though i'm not perfect at not being mad or frustrated the more I have tried to stay calm the better that I have become at doing it. One thing that Elder Lawrence  said was to pray often for the gift of discernment, I really liked this because I have never really ever prayed for that, but learning that you can pray for that kind of help so I can recognize when the spirit is guiding me in a lesson or helping me to make someones day better, also so that I can know when the Holy Ghost is testifying of truth. The other devotional that we had on Sunday was about all the new media that the church uses to bring more people to the church, I really liked that one because it showed some really big numbers referrals due to people watching these videos. They also told us that there is going to be a you tube commercial during Christmas about the real purpose of Christmas it looked really cool!!

Has anyone seen the movie "Meet the Mormons" I've seen the preview in class and heard a little bit about it I was just wondering if anyone saw it and thought that it was good?
